Dr Jasna Novak Milić (PhD in Linguistics, University of Zagreb) currently teaches Croatian at the Macquarie University, various subjects in TESOL at the Western Sydney University and is a casual producer at SBS Croatian. Prior to moving to Sydney in 2014 she held a position of a tenured professor at the University of Zagreb. Her professional interests cover areas of applied linguistics (language acquisition, bilingualism) and aspectology, as well as intercultural education. She has published numerous scholarly articles and book chapters and has taught various linguistic subjects, including Croatian (as a second/foreign language) and Swedish in Croatia, USA (as a Fulbright fellow) and Sweden. She has been a member of the Governing Council since 2014.
