To celebrate the Month of the Croatian Language and the anniversary of the Declaration on the Status and Name of the Croatian Literary Language, the Croatian Studies Centre at Macquarie University is hosting a virtual roundtable on the significance of the Croatian language for national identity in Australia.

Joining us are Dr Željko Jozić of the Institute of the Croatian language and linguistics, Dr Luka Budak of Macquarie University, and SBS Croatian executive producer Marijana Buljan. Among the themes to be discussed are the content and impact of the Declaration, the contributions of Croatian Australians to achieving international recognition, and the preservation of the language among the Australian community today.
